We need parents to help with our annual Fall Festival at WJA. The Fall Festival will be this Saturday night, beginning at 7:00pm. Any funds raised at this event go directly to the individual classrooms to help buy classroom materials, books, fun & games, and to help field trips to cost less. We need your help with one or more of the following:
- Buy 1 dozen donuts. Must have a hole in the middle.
- Provide yarn or string, cut into 36 two-foot-long strings.
- Provide 1 bag of bird seed.
- Buy 2 bags of fun-sized candy bars, or other individually-wrapped candies.
- Bring 2 rolls of pennies.
- Bring a bag or bags of 100 balloons.
We also need parents to help supervise the games. A sign-up sheet has been posted on our classroom door. Please sign-up for the item or items you are willing to help with by Thursday, Oct. 25.

Welcome
Welcome to my classroom's daily lesson plan website. Here you will find a daily posting of the goings-on in our grades 3-5 classroom. This is designed to be helpful two specific ways:
1. Students who miss work due to excused absences will have an accurate record of assignments, without having to wait to receive them upon returning.
2. Parents who want a list of daily work will have an accurate record of assignments.
Please recognize that there is no specific time that assignments will be posted by each day. They will be posted for a given day by that day's end.
If you find this resource to be particularly helpful, or have other comments or questions about it, please feel free to leave a comment. Likewise, students, if you don't understand the particular requirements for a posted day's assignment, leave a comment so I can make it more clear.
